SEA KAYAKING DAY ADVENTURES

There is no more intimate way to explore Maine‘s 4000 miles of coastline and 3500 coastal islands than in a sea kayak.

Half Day Coastal Exploration — $65/person

On this fun filled introduction to sea kayaking weave in and out of kelp shrouded bays while developing basic kayaking skills.

Full Day Island Hopping Adventure — $105/person (with lunch)

Explore a variety of coastal ecosystems with many opportunities to tidepools and birdwatch. Stop to photograph the stunning granite coastline and then work on strokes and navigation skills. Shore lunch is provided featuring regional delicacies prepared by your Master ME Guide.

Family Fun! — $65/person ($55/child accompanied by adult)

Imagine your perfect vacation day — the kids embark on a voyage to enchanted isles with magical wonders around every corner. Parents unwind and let the solace of the sea seep into their souls. Teenagers develop outdoor and naturalist skills while getting in shape. And you all went on the same trip!

Paddling Skills Intensive — $125/person (snacks and instructional materials provided)

Challenge yourself during this personalized day-long kayaking session. Using our tier-based instructional curriculum to develop more advanced strokes, self-rescues and navigation skills. A great primer for your own solo excursions.

Private Instruction — guide:client ratio 1:1 $50/person/hour; 1:2 $40/person/hour; 1:3 $30/person/hour

Additional Paddle Trips: First Light Tour for Birders (Sunrise); Last Light Tour (Sunset) with Optional Lobster Bake.

Hiking Adventure

Hike the “trails less traveled” with your Registered Maine Guide as you learn to interpret the Acadian landscape — trail snacks provided.

Winter Adventure

Your Maine Guide will lead you safely into the winter landscape allowing you to enjoy Acadia when it is most stunning. A great opportunity to develop winter navigation skills on snowshoes or skis while learning animal tracking and winter ecology. Snacks provided — your cocoa will taste so much better on a mountain summit amidst winter‘s splendor.
